Information I process on behalf of clients

When providing services, I may be given access to personal information controlled by a client, for example information contained within their systems, documents or correspondence.

In these circumstances, the client will normally remain the data controller and The Organised Place will act on the client's instructions. I will only access and use this information as necessary to provide the agreed services and will handle it confidentially and securely.

Access to client information will be removed when it is no longer required for the work, and I will not retain copies unless this has been agreed with the client or retention is required by law.

Some of the service providers I use may store or process personal information outside the United Kingdom.

Where personal information is transferred outside the UK, I take appropriate steps to ensure that it is protected in accordance with UK data protection law, including relying on recognised safeguards where required.
